Index to Chiropractic Literature

Description

The primary goal of the Index to Chiropractic Literature is to provide indexing of the peer-reviewed literature produced by chiropractic publishers. We also provide links to chiropractic organizations, to databases for searching the literature in related health professions, and links to high quality Web resources selected by chiropractic librarians. 

Literature Compendium

Description

National Center conducted an extensive scoping review of the interprofessional collaborative practice and interprofessional education (ICP/IPE) literatures from 2008 through 2013. The initial search yielded 1176 published manuscripts that were reduced to 496 when the inclusion criteria were used to refine the selection of published manuscripts. This fully searchable compendium includes full citations and access through PubMed to those manuscripts, organized by article content, country of study, healthcare system, methods, number of professions involved, sample size and study setting.

    Description

    Offers the latest medical news, expert perspectives, and relevant professional education and CME.  Also contains comprehensive information on drugs and herbals, drug interactions, diseases and conditions, medical procedures, and anatomy, as well as practice guidelines and a physician finder tool. It also offers dozens of calculators pertaining to tests, diagnostic criteria, and more, arranged by medical specialty.

      National Ag Safety Database

      Description

      The database was developed with funding from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). The information contained in NASD was contributed by safety professionals and organizations from across the nation. Specifically, the objectives of the NASD project are:

      • To provide a national resource for the dissemination of information;
      • To educate workers and managers about occupational hazards associated with agriculture-related injuries, deaths and illnesses;
      • To provide prevention information;
      • To promote the consideration of safety and health issues in agricultural operations;
      • To provide a convenient way for members of the agricultural safety and health community to share educational and research materials with their colleagues
