Empowering North Carolina health professionals to deliver evidence-based patient care

About Us

The AHEC Digital Library (ADL) is your portal to AHEC library services and information. The ADL ensures that all health professionals in the state have high-quality health information readily available with access to free tools and materials. Additional evidence-based resources are available through paid subscription.

Each of our nine AHEC locations is equipped with a library staff ready to serve the specific needs of the health care professionals in their region. Beyond our traditional library services, the AHEC Digital Library (ADL) offers access to high-quality health information through our web portal of databases, journal collections, and clinical tools.
